From Isaac's papers: Isaac J. Allen parents moved with the Jacksons, the Youngs, the Denmans, the Ayres, the Bryants, the Axtels, the Mitchells, the Talmages, the Hylers, the Balls and perhaps others to Fredericktown, Knox County, Ohio in 1814. They started when he was only 6 weeks old and he was a 3 months old when they arrived - a 1000 mile trip in a covered wagon!.
