    Isaac Alden d. Bridgewater 11 Oct 1781 in 89th year, leaving no wife or children, and I [George Bowman] "have found nothing to indicate that he ever married". Will of "Isaac Alden of Bridgwater", dated 11 May 1773, proved 5 Nov 1781, mentions brother "Ebenezer Aldin"; "my Two Sisters viz Sarah Cary & Mercy Packerd and to the Heirs of my Sister mehetable Richards Deceast : and to the Heirs of Jamima whitman my Sister Deceast", "Isaac Alden minor Son of Ezra Alden Deceast"; "the two Eldest Daughters of my Brother John Alden Deceast viz Hannah & Kezia" and "Abigail Alden Daughter to Isaac Alden Deceast & Grandaughter to my Brother John Alsen Deceast" and "My Nephew Jonathan Alden Son of my Brother John Alden Deceast"; friends "John Orcutt of Bridgewater" and "David Kingman of S'd Bridgwater"; John Orcutt and David Kingman executors. On 5 Nov 1781, "David Kingman having Refused Excorship and John Orcutt being deceased", Simeon Brett of Bridgewater was appointed administrator.
