Facts and Events
Name Isa Patrick

Birth[1] 26 Nov 1773 Warren, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States
Marriage 16 Jan 1794 Warren, Worcester, Massachusetts, United Statesto Aaron Putnam
Alt Marriage 16 Jan 1794 New Salem, Franklin, Massachusetts, United Statesto Aaron Putnam
Death? Jun 1867 Houlton, Aroostook, Maine, United States

Isa lists her birthplace as "Weston, MA" in Maine censuses (1840 and 1850). I found her (accidently) in Warren (thru IGI) as "Isabel" (because her sister Rebecca married Aaron's brother Jacob). Through reseaching, I discovered that "The town of Western, established 16 January 1742, came from parts of Brimfield, Brookfield and Kingsfield (now extinct). Not until 13 March 1834 did Western become Warren." And we New Englanders are famous for dropping "R's" from words ("Pak Ya Ca") and adding them to the end of words...So a yankee accent would say "Westen" in stead of "WesteRn", and the recorder would write "Weston"

I checked the Vital Records of Warren MA (pub 1919) pages 52-53 births, pages 130-131 marriages, and pages 184-185 deaths. Her birth is recorded as "Issa" and her marriage as "Isabelle". The marriage intention is recorded as:

"Patrick, Iasbelle and Aaron Putnam of New Salem, Jan 16, 1794"
