In 1926 additional land was purchased to the North and the Hilltop section was established. The last available grave sites in Bedford are found in the Hilltop section.

    BEDFORD. Aug, 28. - Funeral services for Mrs. Ida L. Gage, 68, were held at the home in Bedford Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. John W. Rice, pastor of the Congregational church of Merrimack officiating.
    Bearors were Perham Parker, John M. Hodgeman, Charles H. Wiggin and William Melendy. Burial was in Bedford cemetery under the direction of Charles E. Fiske, undertaker.
