IDA KRUEGER came to Jackson County, Wisconsin at the age of 17. She and her husband CARL MANTHEI farmed in the town of Cleveland since 1910. IDA KRUEGER and MATILDA KRUEGER, who married JOHN MANTHEI, were sisters. They had a brother, AUGUST KRUEGER, who lived in Tomahawk and Wausau, Wisconsin. They had another brother who remained in Germany.
