    "Mrs. Francis M. Yockey, a life-long resident of this community, died at the family home six miles southwest of Bremen Monday after an illness of a week from Bright's disease. Funeral services were held at Riverside church today, leaving the home at one oclock. Burial was in the Bremen cemetery. Rev. H. G. Pence of Burkett and Rev E. Hively, pastor of the Bremen circuit, had charge of the services.

    "Ida Catherine Balsley, daughter of Joseph and Eliza Balsley, was born near Bremen Jan. 23, 1869. Her age at the time of her death Monday was fifty-three years, four months and thirteen days.

    "She was united in marriage with Francis M. Yockey March 26, 1891, and seven children were born to them, six of whom survive her. She leaves the husband and six children—Mrs. Viola Hagenau, Forrest Yockey, Mrs. Beulah Moore, Owen Yockey, Mrs. Gladys Berger and Mrs. Lois Yazel. There are also seven grand-children; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Annis of near Bremen and Mrs. Eva Goss of Culver; two brothers, Alvin Balsley of Bremen and Marion Balsley of Rockford, Ill.; and a large circle of more distant relatives.

    "Mrs. Yockey was a membe rof the United Brethren church at Riverside and was an active member of the ladies' aid society of that church."
