Bremen, Marshall, Indiana, United States"...suffered a stroke of paralysis Sunday evening in front of the Matz restaurant on East Plymouth st. just as he dismounted from a motorcycle on which he had taken and enjoyed a short ride with his grandson, Arthur Annis. They rode bur a short distance and at a slow pace, and the ride is not thought to have been in any way the cause of the stroke. As Mr. Balsley dismounted he fell over, and it was found that his left side was useless, though he was able to talk and jested about his condition. He was assisted to a chair in the Matz restaurant, where Dr. Nusbaum examined him, after which he was removed to his residence next door." |
