Was of Newport, RI; wife: Sarah recvd only "all the moveable Estate I had with her in marriage"; sons: James, Nicholas, John, Joseph & Daniel; grandson Hugh Mosher, son of Nicholas; grandsons of my surname (no list); grandchildren not of my name (no list). Exors: son James & friend Daniel Sabeere of Newport. Friend Jeremiah Clarke my Kinsman & Capt John Stanton of Newport to be Overseers. Witnesses: John Sakeer, John Bayley Jr. & Samuel Rhodes.   4.   In records dated June of 1660, Hugh purchased land at Westerly, Rhode Island and in 1669 and 1680 he purchased additional land at Tiverton and Dartmouth, Rhode Island. Hugh was a minister and a blacksmith.
