June 16, 1950 Arkansas Gazette Hoyt G. Jones Hill Creek Minister 

    Morrilton, June 15 - Hoyt G. Jones, aged 39, died at Morrilton Thursday.  He was born at Plumerville and was a farmer and minister at HIll Creek Community and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Pearl Jones of Hill Creek; two brothers, Druid Jones of Springfield and Leon Jones of Blytheville; seven sisters, Mrs. Aulene Martin of Morrilton, Mrs. Emery Francis and Miss Marguerite Jones, all of Blytheville, Mrs. Ruby Mallett and Mrs. John Wesley Dunlap of Springfield, Mrs. Herman Perry of England and Miss Martha Jones of Hill Creek.  Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Hill Creek Missionary Baptist Church by Elder Carl Williams.  Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery."
