- ↑ "LAKE WALES -- Mr. Howard Arthur Tibado of Lake Wales died of heartfailure Saturday (Aug. 6, 2005) at Hospice House in Auburndale. He was83.
Born in Yankton, S.D., on April 19, 1922, he came to Lake Wales fromthere 79 years ago. He was a retired manager for Tibado LP Gas. He was amember of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2420 and the United StatesMarine Raiders Association. He was a member of Holy Spirit CatholicChurch of Lake Wales. Mr. Tibado is survived by his daughter, Dianne Martin, Lake Wales; son,Ron Tibado, Lake Wales; brother, Clarence Tibado, Winter Haven; sisters,Lorraine Duncan, Winter Haven, Mary Underhill, Hudson, Joan Arndt, LakeWales; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Marion Nelson FuneralHome of Lake Wales. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at HolySpirit Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lake Wales Cemetery.
