1 Jul 1814: "This certifies that Horatio Whitney a minor under the age of twenty one years and above the age of fourteen years, belonging to the town of Watertown & living more than tne miles from your Honor's dwelling house this day came before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace within & for the County aforesaid [Middlesex] and made choice of Enoch Wiswall Esq'r of said Watertown to be his Guardian."
