"Being held up?" the detectives asked driver Horace Looker, 21. "Yes... I've never been so glad to see a cop in all my life, They've been taking me for a ride and talking about a holdup."

[newspaper clipping] 27 July 1955: BUFFALONIAN HURT IN FULTON SMASH Fulton-- A Buffalo man was injured Saturday in a two-car accident at Seventh and Oneida STS. Horace Looker, 52, 152 Orange ST, suffered bruises about the forehead when he was thrown forward and his head broke the windshield of a car in which he was a passenger. According to John Raymond Wood, 40... driver, his car stopped at a light when struck from behind by another car... Looker was not treated for his injury.

Oswego Palladium-Times, 10 Nov 1955: HORACE LOOKER Fulton-- Horace Looker, 53, of 152 Orange ST, Buffalo, former resident of Fulton, died Wednesday at his home. Mr. Looker is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Looker; a daughter, Miss Linda Sue Looker; two sisters, Mrs. Delos VanWormer of Fulton and Mrs. Peter Gamble of North Volney. Services will be held in the Springer Funeral Home... Saturday. Burial will be in North Volney.
