He had visited a neighbor Sunday evening and was in apparent good health. Coroner H.F. Hubbard of Rome was called and pronounced death due to cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Collins was born in Carterville about 60 years ago, a son of William and Louisa Durgee Collins. He had lived in the vicinity of Camden all his life and followed the occupation of farmer and itinerant meat seller. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Clark and Carl, and a daughter Catherine; three sisters, Mrs. DeWill Potts and Mrs. Stephen Williams of Amboy and Mrs. Ida Skerritt of Baldwinsville; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon ... at the funeral parlors of B.A. Sanborn & Son. Burial will be made at Hillsboro in the spring, the body being held in the vault at Camden Cemetery until that time.
