Known as "H Ronald Blickenstaff" for most of his life, he married Mary Catherine Elliott c 1939 (I don't know the exact date of their marriage yet, but Mary Catherine is referred to as an "Elliott" in several 1939 news articles, and is a "Blickenstaff" in articles starting in 1940.) Mary Catherine had been married before to Joseph Clinton Roulette (they married 11/12/1932 - see Hagerstown Daily Mail 1/21/1933, p2) and on 8/24/1933 had their only daughter Joanne Mary Roulette. After Ronald & Mary Catherine married, they raised Joanne. Joanne later married Willard F Slifer on 4/2/1955. Joanne died Jun 1981. Mary Catherine Blickenstaff died 5/23/1962 (her obit is in the Hagerstown Daily Mail, 5/24/1962 edition)
