    Hilda E. Wardwell, 88, died Nov. 3, 2004, at home. Born Nov. 5, 1915, in Littleton, she was a daughter of Edwin and Louise (Parker) Johnson. She was a longtime Manchester resident. Mrs. Wardwell was predeceased by her husband, William L. Wardwell, and by a son, David R. Wardwell. The family includes a son, Richard W. Wardwell of Auburn; a daughter, Carol L. Wentworth of Manchester; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends may gather at the main entrance at 11:15 a.m. Burial will be in the family plot.
