    BEITEMA - Hilbrand Bill Beintema, age 62, of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 23, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer.

    Bill was preceded in death by one brother John Beintema.

    He is survived by his wife of 42 years Martha; children, Peter Susan Beintema of Cutlerville, Tina Tim Burgess of Byron Center, Eric Jessica Beintema of Wyoming; grandchildren, Tyler and Rhiannon Beintema, Joshua, Andrew, Jordan and Aaron Burgess, Mya and Emma Beintema.

    Also surviving are his parents Pieter and Meintje Beintema of Jenison; mother-in-law Tina Eefsting of Byron Center; two brothers, Peter Thea Beintema of Hudsonville, Sid Sharon Beintema of Wyoming; one sister-in-law Tressa Beintema of Holland; one brother-in-law Girbe Barb Eefsting of Grand Haven and many nieces and nephews.

    The funeral service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. from the Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church 501 68th St., Cutlerville, MI 49548 with Pastor Bill Sytsma officiating.

    The family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center 2067 84th St. SW.

    Interment in Winchester Cemetery.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Education Fund for the Beintema grandchildren.
