- Hezekiah was born in Middle Haddam, Ct. and in 1801 removed to Springfield, Otsego County, NY with his wife and parents. He resettled soon after in the township of Monticello. In 1837 he went to Michigan with a William Pattin for the purpose of erecting buildings and he died in 1839 either in Bay City or Adrian, Michigan and interned at Novi Corners, Michigan. Spouse Nancy resided in Springfield until 1859, when she moved to Ohio with her son Daniel, dying there in 1862. Sources: 1800 & 1810 U.S. Federal Census and "Stocking Ancestry" by Rev.
