Mariazathe

Symen Arriens SLM was farmer on the "Maria Zathe" current address Middelweg-Oost 157 in Sint Annaparochie.
The farm is bought by Symen Ariens and Aechie Olpherts in 1629 from Pyter Lourens.

In 1527, Heijman Scheyff was living on this farm, he had the title "Schout op der Bilt". The nickname for Symen Arriens S.L.M. was “Scheijff”.

In 1655 Symen Ariens was menist (doopsgezinde). In 1670 no longer menist.
