Birth

Rhoda was born May 12, 1771 in Litchfield, Connecticut to Greene M. Bentley and Diana Straight. She was named Herodias after her grandmother on her maternal side, but would be called "Rhoda."

Marriage and Family

Rhoda married Jacob Teeples in Rochester, New York in 1790 at the age of 19. Together they had several children--Catherine, Ocey, George Bentley, Nancy Ann, Henry Luke, Mary, Roxy, Rhoda, Elvira.

Death and Burial

Rhoda died January 2, 1837 in Oakland, Michigan.[1]
