MR. and MRS. HERMAN E. HARVEY to OBSERVE 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY- Mr. and Mrs. Herman E. Harvey of Phoenix, Arizona and formerly of Elwood, who are visiting relatives in Elwood and Aroma, will observe their sixtieth wedding anniversary Sunday, July 3. Open house will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Haworth, near Aroma, from 2 to 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey were married July 3, 1889 in Perkinsville. Mrs. Harvey is the former Miss Sarah L. Leeman, daughter of Alfred and Mary Leeman. She was born near Omega in 1871. Mr. Harvey was born near Aroma in 1867, the son of Charles and Margaret Harvey. They have one daughter, Mildred, the wife of Major Henry H. Miller, stationed at Fort Hayes, Ohio. Both are members of the M.E. church. Mrs. Harvey is a Pythian sister and Mr. Harvey is a member of the Masonic Lodge. They lived in Elwood for twelve years after their marriage. Mr. Harvey was a traveling salesman for many years. He and the Mrs. now live on a ranch in Arizona. Mrs. Harvey has two sisters living: Mrs. Jane Foust of Frankton; Mrs. Ora Haworth of near Aroma. Mr. Harvey has a sister and brother: Mrs. Myrtle Leonard of 814 S. Anderson street; Dayton Harvey of Aroma. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey are visiting at the homes of their brothers and sisters.
