GOOD WOMAN OF ELWOOD PASSED TO HER REWARD THIS MORNING- After lingering at the point of death for a week, Mrs. Cassius Haworth, whose husband is a nephew of William Haworth, the grocer, died at the family residence on South H street, just west of Anderson street today. A complication of diseases brought about the death of Mrs. Haworth. She had been in failing health for a number of months, and several operations were resorted to in the hope of relieving her but they were not successful. The dead woman was thirty-seven years of age and a daughter of Charles Harvey, of Anderson and South E streets. Her husband owns a fine farm near Aroma from which they removed to Elwood, but a few months ago on account of her failing health. She was widely known throughout that community as an excellent woman. A husband survives, but there are no children. The funeral will be held in the M.E. church at Aroma on Wednesday afternoon, and interment will be in the cemetery near there. Rev. Beatty will probably officiate.
