HENRY ELBERS PASSES; LIVED HERE MANY YEARS Henry Elbers, aged 81, passed away at an early hour Sunday morning. He had been failing for almost a year, but his condition was not regarded as serious, and his death came as a shock to family and friends. The funeral was held at the Reformed Church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, with Rev. J.H. Bruggers, pastor of the church in charge. burial was in the local cemetery. Mr. Elbers had lived in this vicinity for many years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Mulder and Mrs. Hattie Reed, and by one brother, Fred, whose home is at Musgegon.

Henry Elbers was born September 1, 1852 in Allendale township and departed this life October 8, 1933, aged eighty-one years, one month and seven days. On April 21, 1887 he was married to Jessie Kloosterhouse. To this union three children were born, two sons and one daughter, one son dying in infancy. He is survived by his widow, one daughter Linnie at home and one son Edward of Holland; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Mulder and Mrs. Hattie Reed of Coopersville, one brother Fred of Muskegon, besides a host of relatives and friends.
