  12. "Herbert S. Conley, 65, train dispatcher for the Baltimore and OhioRailroad company for the past 36 years, died Saturday night in his home,171 Neal Avenue, after several months' illness.
    He was born Jan 24, 1871, in Newark, the son of William J and RoseConley. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Caroline Knight, to whom he wasmarried June 24, 1902; two sons, Paul of Columbus, and Ralph of a formermarriage, also of Columbus; one grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah M.Allen and Mrs. Grace Phelps of Hartford, Conn.
    He started in the service of the B & O when 12 years of age as amessenger boy. He was a member of the B & O Veterans' association andthe Train Dispatchers' association.
    The body will remain at the Gutliph and Henderson funeral home andfriends are asked to call there. Funeral services will be held Tuesdayafternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. C.H. Stull officiating and burial willbe in East Lawn cemetery, Columbus."
