(Research):Secondary sources such as History of Dublin, NH, page 389 give Samuel's wife as Lucy. It is believed that Lucy may have been a nickname for Hephzebah for the following reasons. - History of Framingham, MA gives Samuel's wife as Hephzebah. - LDS primary sources give Hephzebah as well as the three boys. - Hephzebah has a history (family). Lucy doesn't. - Hephzebah's brother Nathan married Samuel's sister Lydia. - Vt Warnings Out mentions family with wife as Hephzebah. - Hephzebah had a brother Joel. Boys named Joel, Samuel (for father) and James (for Samuel's father). - Chances of two families exactly the same except for female is almost zero.
