I, Henry Wolcott of Windsor, do make this my last will and testament: I give to my son Henry Wolcott all my lands in Colebrook, and all my lands in Willingtown, and all my lands and rights to common and undivided lands in the Township of Windsor, and the lands called the Equivalent, to him and his heirs forever. I give to my grandsons, Thomas Wolcott and Luke Wolcott, 2-3 parts of my 400-acre farm in Tolland that is bounded south on Coventry, as also my three rights or lotts in the Cedar Swamp in Tolland, share and share alike, to them and their heirs forever. I give to my son Thomas his four daughters 1-3 part of my 400-acre farm in Tolland, to them and their heirs forever. And my will is that my son Thomas shall have the improvement of what land he hath before this time enclosed at any time within fence of my 400-acre farm in Tolland during his natural life. I give to my son Gideon Wolcott that lott of land in Windsor I bought of my brother Simon Wolcott, whereon I now live, from the river to the end of the three-mile lotts, bounded east on the commons, with the appurtenances, to him and his heirs forever. I give to my grandson Giles Wolcott about 300 acres of land more or less, lying in Windsor, bounded east upon Bolton, north upon land belonging to Gideon Wolcott, south upon land laid out to Joseph Barbour, and west upon a highway, or however the same may be otherwise bounded, to him and to his heirs forever. I give to my daughter Rachel my two black servants, Philehas and Scipio, and £50 more to be paid out of my personal estate at inventory price. And all the rest and residue of my estate I give to my sons, Henry, Thomas and Gideon, and to my daughter Rachel and to my grandson Giles, share and share alike, in five equal parts, my grandson Giles his part to remain in the hands of my executors until he attain the age of 21 years. I appoint my son Gideon Wolcott and my kinsman Roger Wolcott, Jr., executors.
