    "Summers, Henry. Bought land in Stratford, 1668; it is not known how, if at all, he was related to Henry Summers of Woburn, Mass. … Will 1 Sept. 1713, proved 17 June 1717; wife to be maintained by son Joseph with the provision made for her by her first husband and her own help; one shilling apiece to children, Samuel, Henry, John, children of dau. Sarah, dau. Hannah, Mary Summers, daus. Abigail, Patience, Martha; to son Joseph, all lands in Milford; bro. Joseph Wheeler and son Joseph Summers, Exec'rs. Wheeler refused the trust. The Exec'r reported that he had paid legacies to John Summers, Abigail Hall, Hannah Scovill, Mary Summers, Patience Hubbell, and Martha Morehouse; and tendered legacies to Samuel and Henry Summers, which they refused."
