"Scofield, James, s. Hanna (Summers) Scofield and James. BP Aug. 3, 1701; his grandmother & grandfather Summers being mem. full communion at Stratford."

Henry Summers' will dated 1 Sept. 1713, proved 17 June 1717; … one shilling apiece to children, Samuel, Henry, John, children of dau. Sarah, dau. Hannah, … The Exec'r reported that he had paid legacies to John Summers, Abigail Hall, Hannah Scovill, Mary Summers, Patience Hubbell, and Martha Morehouse; and tendered legacies to Samuel and Henry Summers, which they refused.[1]
