Educated at Clare Hall, Cambridge; is a Magistrate for Wilts (High Sheriff in 1843); appointed to the Army in 1814, as Ensign 28th regiment; retired as Lieutenant-Colonel; late Captain Royal Wilts Yeomanry Cavalry.
