    SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN LAND BETWEEN FIRST ELECTION AND DEATH: during the 1760s Hall patented ca. 7,815 acres in Frederick County and ca. 163 acres in Anne Arundel County. He sold off the land in Frederick County piecemeal, with several sales still pending at the time of his death, and mortgaged over 3,000 acres in Prince George's, Frederick and Anne Arundel counties to his brother John Hall (1729-1797) in 1764 and 1767.
