1775 - On May 16, 1775, as the son and heir of Henry Hall, deceased, he and his mother, Elizabeth Hall, conveyed for 5 shillings "Burrage," "Burrage's Blossom," and "Burrage's End" to John Battee. Margery Hall, wife, waived all dower rights before Richard Harwood Jr. and T. Watkins Jr., two Justices of the Peace for Anne Arundel County.

1776 - On February 22, 1776, at the beginning of the actual break with the mother country, he was appointed by the Council of Safety Captain of a militia company in Anne Arundel County.

1779 - On November 18, 1779, he was commissioned a Justice of the Peace and Judge of the Orphans' Court for Anne Arundel County [Archives of Maryland, 2:178; 43:18, 28.]

1787 - married Rachel Harwood, according to license issued in Anne Arundel County on June 23, 1787. She was the daughter of Captain Thomas Harwood, of St. James Parish, and Rachel Sprigg his wife.

1787 - became the trustee for the property of John Watkins, of Anne Arundel County, an insolvent debtor, who transferred to him all his property both real and personal including the plantation "White Hall".

1793 - Richard Harwood Sr., who died in Anne Arundel County in 1793, provided for his "niece Rachel Hall the wife of Henry Hall."

1797 - On June 23, 1797, he conveyed to Thomas Sellman for £3,000 "Morley's Lott" and "Morley's Grove" which tracts began at a stone on the Patuxent River and a tree of "Larkins' Choice." The next day Sellman reconveyed the plantations to him for a consideration of £3,500.

1797 - His original will, dated June 5, 1797, is on file at Annapolis, by which he bequeathed personally to his wife, Rachel, and various negroes to his sons, Henry Hall, Joseph Hall, John Washington Hall, Thomas Harwood Hall, Richard Henry Hall, and Osborn Sprigg Hall. To his youngest sons, Thomas, Richard, and Osborn he devised all realty including "Morely's Lot," "Morley's Grove," "Champ's Adventure," "Hall's Delight," "Darke's Chance," and "Happy Choice." He described "Morely's Lot" as lying on the main road which led to Governor's Bridge on the Patuxent and then up the west line to the land purchased by William Hall 3d and dividing the land then held by Martha Hall and himself. The Residuary estate was willed to his children Joseph Hall, John Washington Hall, Margaret Hall, Elizabeth Hall, and Mary Ann Hall. He named his wife and son Henry as executors. It was admitted for probate in Anne Arundel County on January 7, 1799, by Edward Hall, Leonard Sellman, and Thomas Sellman.

1799 - An account filed by his widow and executrix on April 16, 1799, listed 32 slaves and a balance due the estate of £1569-4-3.

1832 - The estate of Henry Hall by his administrator de bonis non Richard H. Hall was settled on December 18, 1832, when Rachel S. Hall, and the balance or one-seventh each to the following: the estate of Joseph Hall; Richard G. Stockett; Basil Warren; Thomas W. Hall; Thomas H. Hall; Richard H. Hall; and Osborn S. Hall, Robert W. Kent and Thomas W. Hall were the sureties. [Distributions Liber 1820-38, folio 201]
