Wardell, Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. : Eyman, Henry, born 1/26/1758 in Germany; emigrated with father to America in 1763 & settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where soldier entered service in 1776; moved in 1796 to Rockingham County, Virginia, thence in 1817 to Fairchild County, Ohio where granted Pension in 1833; query letter in file in 1922 from great great granddaughter Etta May (Mrs. L.B.) McNamee, Chicago, Il; query letter in file states soldier married Mary Sager & died 4/26/1850, further surname also spelled Eyeman. F-S8450, R947. References
