Acquisition of Land from Virginia Northern Neck Land Grants:

  • Henry Cowgill of Frederick County, 98 acres on Back Creek in said County surveyed for Benjamin Barratt and plot returned by John Mauzy 11 Nov. 1752. Barratt not complying with Advertisement and recorded in Book N. Adj. William Dillon, Daniel Dillon, Owen Long, Maurice Reese, said Barrat and his brother John Barrat, James Crumley. 28 Sept. 1774.
