Found on the 1870 census! On the 1860 census, she is a servant in the William Barker household.

Entirely conjecture

Her cousin married Johann Gottlieb Stadel. HIS brother Wilhelm (Will) married a woman named Ellen sometime before 1886. They divorced before 1920. Knowing that families often had multiple marriages, could Ellen be Hellen Barker?

In addition, there is a suspicion that Eleanor Kitty Young had married Benjamin Barker and then married the father, Eli, then the son, Nathan Hatt. Wilhelm Stadel lived with Hugh Hatt - who may or may not be related to Nathan and Eli.

It could all be coincidence.
