Heart ailment claims mother of school head

Mrs. James (Helen M.) Carlisle, 69, of Goshen, mother of Joseph Carlisle, superintendent of Carrollton schools, died this morning in Union Hospital of a heart condition.

Born at Nineveh, a daughter of William and Mary Rausch Reymond, she frequently helped her husband in a small produce market they had at their home.

She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Women's Circle.

In addition to her husband and son, she is survived by nine other children, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Hibbs, Mrs. Robert (Faye) Meese, Wanda Carlisle, James J. and Dan Carlisle, all of New Philadelphia, Mrs. Dallas (June) Crites of Gnadenhutten, Mrs. Donald (Marjorie) Levengood of Mineral City, Mrs. Sanford (Linda) Hayman of Columbus, and Tom Carlisle of Carey Ill.; two brothers, Herb Reymond of Minerva and Guy Reymond of Akron; a sister, Mrs. C.H. (Isabelle) Makeever of Columbus, 30 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 in the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints in New Philadelphia with Elder Robert Carlisle officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. ,
