Helen Tenos
Helen Birdie Tenos of Eugene died June 22 of congestive heart failure. She was 92. A memorial service is planned for late summer at Community of Christ.
She was born March 10, 1919, in New Brighton, Pa., to Peter and Mary Redding Crumrine. She married John Tenos on May 11, 1941, in Virginia. He died May 5, 1995.
She graduated from business school. She worked as a secretary for Curtiss Wright Aircraft during World War II. She was an artist, teaching and exhibiting her work in the Pittsburgh area.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Streeter of Eugene and Helen Magnusson of San Clemente, Calif.; two sisters, Evelyn Crumrine and Lillian Nunheimer, both of New Jersey; and four grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Eugene. Arrangements by England's Eugene Memorial Chapel. Remembrances to the Arthritis Foundation or Outreach International.
