Hazel was born in Williamson, NY and lived most of her life on her parent's farm on Kenyon Road. She married Harrison Eaton. After marrying Harrison, the couple moved into her family residence, since her father had died just three months before their wedding. She and Harrison lived at the farm for the rest of their lives. She worked very hard to help support her mother and seven children. She was always busy working on the farm of doing work in various factories. She suffered with arthritis and had a heart problem in later life. She died of heart failure at the Hospital in Sodus, NY. after a short illness.
