    Harvey E. Reimert

    Harvey E. Reimert, 82, a resident of Palmerton for 40 years and more recently a resident of Slatington, died Wednesday night in Hamburg Tuberculosis Sanitorium where he was a patient for more than a year.

    A carpenter most of his life, he lived with a son Harold in Slatington before he became ill.

    Born in Berks County near Lenhartsville, he was a son of the late William and Jane (Follweiler) Reimert. He was the husband of the late Gertrude (Reitz) Reimert.

    Reimert was of the Lutheran faith.

    Surviving are a son Harold who now lives in Palmerton; a brother Abner, Allentown; five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Weida, Stines Corner; Mrs. Barbara Schaeffer, New Tripoli, and Mrs. Myra Snyder, Mrs. Claude Lutz and Mrs. Mahlon Hamm, all of Allentown, and a grandchild.

    Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family on Saturday in Morgan Funeral Home, 1002 Main St., Slatington.
