DEATH: State of Georgia ) Jefferson County ) Whenever it may please the Lord to remove me from this life, it is my will and desire that my property and whatever I may possess be divided in the following manner, namely:

DEATH: First: I wish my property of every description to remain on the plantation, except such as my Executors may think is unnecessary for keeping up the farm in such case to make such sale as they deem best and apply the proceeds to the benefit of the Estate.

DEATH: Second: I wish my wife and children to remain on the plantation and share equally its benefits, until my youngest child arrives of age, if she should marry before she comes of age, no distribution is to take place until my youngest son arrives of age, then my property is to be equally divided between my wife and children, the portion coming to my wife shall at her death be equally divided between my children.

DEATH: Third: I wish my found youngest children to have such schooling out of the proceeds of my whole estate as my Executors may think is necessary in their station in life.

DEATH: Fourth: I wish my Executors to let no person or persons live on my plantation until such person or persons shall first make an agreement with my Executor for the labour they may do.

DEATH: Fifth: I wish the property coming to my daughters at their death to be equally divided between their children, if they should die without issue to revert back to my children or their heirs.

DEATH: Sixth: I do appoint and nominate my beloved son, JOHN G. PIPKIN, and my friend EBENEZER BROWN, as my Executors and authorize them to buy or hire and make such arrangements as they deem necessary for the best interest of my Estate.

DEATH: State of Georgia ) Jefferson County ) Court of Ordinary of said County, February Term 1853 In open court appeared JOHN G. PIPKIN Executor named in the Last Will and Testament of HARVEY (says "Henry") P. PIPKIN late of said county, deceased, and produced said Will and one of the subscribing witnesses to the said to wit, EDWARD R. CARSWELL, who being duly sworn depose and say that he saw said HARVEY P. PIPKIN the Testator, sign, seal, and declare and publish the instrument nowfore presented, as his Last Will and Testament, freely voluntarily and of his own accord and without any compulsion or influence whatever, that at the time of the execution of the same said Testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory, that despondent signed said Will as witnesses in presence of Testator, at his special instance and request and in prescence of WILLIAM H.
