He married (1) September 15, 1870, Alma Carmilla Marston (called "Millie")- He married (2) September 5, 1895, Mrs. Mary Ellen Taylor of New York City (nee Mary Ellen Bailey). Mr. Newton resided in Andover, Maine, 1908,
