    Bio: COBBS, Harvey C. III long time principal of Jefferson Elementary School of Hamilton, passed away June 26, 2009 at his residence. A native of Xenia, Ohio, he was educated at Central State University at Wilberforce, Ohio. His wife Alyce Cobbs preceded him in death, June 19, 2008. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Harvey Call Cobbs IV (Christa), Carl Vincent Cobbs, several grandchildren, two brothers, Rodney Cobbs and Byron Ward, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Thompson, Hall and Jordan Funeral Home, 11400 Winton Road, Forest Park, Ohio. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service.Published in Journal-News on June 30, 2009
