Harry Scheidler.
Word has been received of the death Friday of Harry Scheidler, 83 years old, 4616 Central Ave., Indianapolis. Mr. Scheidler is a former resident of Cambridge City, having lived many years on the old Dill farm, north of Cambridge City, in the Pleasant Hill neighborhood. He was a graduate of the Terre Haute Techers college. He was a teacher in the former Creitz school here as well as an employee of the Pennsylvania railroad, working in the mail service. His wife, the former Texie Kepler, native of here, preceded him in death about four years ago. He is survived by one son, DeWitt, of near Indianapolis, and three granddaughters. The late Rev. M.L. Scheidler of here was a brother to the deceased. Services were conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Flanner-Buchanan Mortuary, North Meridian and Fall Creek, in Indianapolis with burial in Indianapolis.
