37.HARRISON M. BLACK (Harry) was born in Champaign County, Ohio, Dec. 26, 1812. He married Elizabeth Miller on March 20, 1842. She was born at Yellow Springs, Ohio, March 9, 1822. They lived on the home place in Champaign County for several years and later moved to West Liberty where they spent the rest of their life. In addition to looking after his farm lands of over six hundred acres, he also was a buyer and shipper of livestock. He had no children of his own but raised Frances Miller, who lived with them until their death. His wife, Elizabeth, died Jan. 27, 1879, and he died ten days later, on Feb. 6, 1879. Both are buried in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty, Logan Co., Ohio.
