GERARDO -- Harriet Sue Gerardo, born October 9, 1941, was called home Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Harriet was born in Centralia, Illinios to Harry and Blanche Griffin. She became a registered nurse, graduating from Julia F. Burnham School of Nursing in 1962, and worked for several years in the pediatrics ward at St. Joseph's hospital in Albuquerque. She will be remembered as a person who always helped a friend in need. Harriet is survived by her two daughters, Gina Gaedke and husband Paul and Nicole Gerardo and husband Josh; and two grandchildren, Griffin and Carley Gaedke. She was preceded in death by her son Ryan Gerardo and her parents. A Service of remembrance will be held at Asbury Methodist Church 10000 Candelaria Rd NE at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009.
