According to the 1900 census, Harriet had 6 children total, with 3 still living.
1870 census lists 2 daughters: Sarah J (7) and Emma M (9). I am not sure if Emma is Medora or another daughter. I have found Medora's birth year listed as 1862 and 1866.
From Arlyn Bernhardt:
Regarding your comment below on the marriage to Michael HARLAND.
I wondered about that also so I had a cousin check the marriage records at Sparta, Monroe Co., WI:
5/20/06 Email from Jim Zingler after trip to Sparta: Did find marriage record for a Harriet Jordan, Vol. 2-90, 8-31-1879 to Michael Harland, b. England, res. Wilton, WI.

Wonder if Harriet and Michael Harland were divorced or something? I know he died in 1885, but she apparently has "Harriet Jordan" on her headstone as well. Maybe the Hineman and Jordan kids weren't real fond of Mr. Harland....
The 1880 census also verifies Michael & Harriet were together:

Tomah Journal 09 Aug 1907.
Harriet Jordan, nee Carey, was born in Hanover, Luzerne County, Penn., the 28th day of October, 1825, and died at Tomah, Monroe County, Wis., the 1st day of August, 1907, aged 81 years, 9 months, 6 days. She emigrated with her parents from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin about 1845, they settling in Dane county. In 1847, she was united in marriage to John Hineman at Fulton, Rock county, Wis. To this union were born four children, all of whom are deceased except M.L. Hineman who resides in the town of Tomah. The family emigrated to Mindoro, La Crosse county, in 1854, where they resided until the fall of 1855, when they moved to Jacksonville where Mr. Hineman died July 29, 1856.
About three years later, she was united in marriage to Richard Jordan at Bangor, Wis. After a short residence at Bangor they moved to La Crosse where they continued to reside until the death of Mr. Jordan, who was killed in a saw mill at that place in November-1867. To this second union were born two children, who still survive viz; Medora, a teacher in the public schools of Minneapolis, and Sadie J. wife of James Rowan of this city, with whom she has made her home. She united with the Baptist church in 1892 during the pastorate of Rev. J.J. Gorham and continued faithful until the hour of her departure.
Funeral services were helf at the home of her daughter in this city Friday afternoon August 2, at 3 o'clock, Rev. Wm. Atkinson officiating. The singing was in charge of Messrs. I.N. Palmer and W.E. Bosshard, with Mesdames Fred and Jud. Crossett. The interment was in Oak Grove cemetery.
