Janie: The census takers appear to have had a difficult time with Harold's name: in the 1900 census his name looks like Hernando C.; in 1910 it is Harold C.; in 1920 it is Henry C. and in 1930 it is Hearl C. I guess Harold slurred with an accent could become Hearl. Which is correct I can't say, but I picked Harold.
