Utica Daily Press, 3 May 1943: HAROLD T. O'CONNOR Rome-- Harold T. O'Connor, a native of Herkimer, a former resident of this city and Churchville [Oneida County], died unexpectedly May 2, 1943 in his home, Williamsburg, VA. His parents were the late Jay and Nettie Stetzel O'Connor, and on Apr. 2, 1933 he married Miss Ada Collins, Stacy Basin, in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Churchville. She and a daughter, Sylvia Joyce O'Connor, survive, with a sister, Mrs. Franklin Langley, Rome, and a brother, Francis O'Connor. The young man served an enlistment in the Army during peacetime. The body will be brought to Griffin & Aldridge Funeral Home... for funeral and burial.
