    Harding Dewitt "Dee" Ketterman, 80, Petersburg, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.

    Mr. Ketterman was born May 21, 1921, in Masonville and was a son of the late George Benjamin Ketterman and Sallie Virginia Belle Parker Ketterman.

    He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was a retired truck driver for Dettinburn Trucking Company.

    His wife, Mary Caterine Reel Ketterman, died Nov. 23, 1990.

    He is survived by two daughters, Shirley Jean Kimble, Upper Tract, and Wanda Lee Ketterman, Petersburg, two sons, Don Williams Ketterman, Petersburg, and James Dee Ketterman, Maysville; a sister Fannie Whetzel, cortland Acres Nursing Home, Thomas; two brothers, Virgil Ketterman, Maysville, and Keith Monroe Ketterman, Petersburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

    The Revs. Bruce Cosner and Calvin Redman conducted the funeral at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg. Burial was at Brake Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Dorcas.
