The Hannah Wallis that married Nathaniel Comegys [C 13116] had previously been considered to be the Hannah Wallis [W 173]. That however is incorrect. The Hannah Wallis who married Nathaniel Comegys is Hannah --?-- who was first married to Micheal Bellican and second to Hugh Wallis [W 15]. The inventory of Christopher and Michael Bellican filed on 30 Mar 1765 indicate that the widow Hannah had intermarried with Hugh Wallis. Her subsequent marriage to Nathaniel Comegys can be seen in the administration of Hugh Wallis where the estate of Hugh Wallis transfered money to Nathaniel Comegys for the estate of the two children of Micheal Bellican. Also, Benjamin Comegys [C 13525], son-in-law of Hannah --?-- and Nathaniel Comegys, in his will called Hannah --?--'s grandchildren by her daughter Elizabeth Bellican his nieces.
