Hannah Lackey appears to have been the first wife of Francis Alexander, as he re-married to Elizabeth McClure in 1790, just two years before his death in Augusta County, Virginia. Hannah was likely the mother of Francis Alexander's daughter Dorcas, who married Augustin Smith in 1798 in Augusta County, as Dorcas would have been too old to have been a child of Francis Alexander's second marriage to Elizabeth McClure.
