Was living or visiting in Chicago, IL in 1909 (based on letters sent to her daughter Charlotte.) She was being treated by a doctor for ulcers. The bill of $14 was so expensive, she wrote to her sons asking for help paying it. She was eatingonly a special diet of milk and crackers for the ulcer.

    "Robinson Funeral Services Saturday"., 25 Dec 2008.

    Quality: 4 Funeral services for Charles A. Robinson, 56, 124 Anson street, who died at home Thursday morning, will be held at the Estel funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday in charge of Rev. Wilbur Zeigler. Burial will be in Riverside.

    Charles Albert Robinson was born May 30, 1891, at New Sharon, the son of Henry and Hannah Daggett Robinson. His early life was spent in New Sharon and he came to Marshalltown from there in 1910. On Dec. 6, 1913, he married Lillian Grabenbauer and they have lived here since that time.

    Mr. Robinson was a social member of Marshalltown lodge No. 313 Loyal Order of Moose.

    He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Viola Smith, Mrs. Nellie Jackson, and Fred A. Robinson.

    Surviving, besides the widow, are two sons and a daughter, Richard and Robert Robinson and Mrs. Earl Banzhaf, all of this city; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Davis and Mrs. Carrie B. Pinneo of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Frank Quinn of New Sharon and Mrs. Bertha Dean of Marshalltown, and one brother, W. H. Robinson of Collins. Five grandchildren also survive.

    Mr. Robinson was employed nine years by the Chicago Great Western railroad and since 1929 had been employed by the Marshall Canning company.
